SUNGAI BULOH HOSPITAL

The Sungei Buloh hospital is part of the Ministry of Health’s decentralization plan, where the objective is to allow the people to be accessible to best health care facilities.

 

The Sungei Buloh hospital master plan covers land over 500 acres of site which formally housed the National Leprosy Center.  The 620 bed hospital is the key component of the township and is planned as as the Center of Excellence for Infectious Diseases, Emergency and Trauma, Neurosurgery, Maxillo-facial surgery, Plastic surgery and burns and Orthopedic and Traumatology. The hospital is supported by a training university of University Technology Mara and has the capacity to allow for medical related industries to be developed here.
