Pagoh University Hub will become a growth catalyst for the Pagoh -Muar region. The development is a multi-campus township where its core activity is the cluster of universities and is supported by complementary activities such as R&D centers, Business Parks and Science Parks, that will all enhanced the development as a knowledge base township, creating great opportunities for employment and economic growth.

Covering 1,659 hectares of land, the RM8 billion project will be the first education hub where it will have 4 major institutions located here i.e. University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, University Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia, University Technology Mara and Polytechnic. These universities will share common facilities and amenities for the students and potential future population.

Developed over the next 10 to 15 years, the Pagoh Education Hub will be a green township, adopting low impact development strategies and incorporating the site’s natural features into the master plan. Its low lands allows it to be planned as a walkable campus and water and energy efficiency will be a key factor in the township’s design.
