FEATURED PROJECT

TOWNSHIP & RESIDENTIAL

ELMINA EAST MASTER PLAN

Elmina East provides for affordability, a challenging task in today’s market.  However the commitment for sustainability is where homes are not only attractive and wide ranging but affordable and meets the needs of general community.

A township within the Selangor Vision City (SVC), the master plan of Elmina East is a pilot project that embodies Sime Darby’s commitment to sustainability. With its novel concept of neighborhoods; where amenities and facilities are within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance, Elmina East demonstrate that achieving sustainability goes beyond greening the environment.

The master plan is designed with a clear planning framework and urban design guidelines that illustrates Sime Darby’s Sustainable Development Excellence Framework.  Making the “Sustainable Communities as places where people want to live and work, now and in the future” as a guiding tagline, Elmina East aspire to meet the diverse needs of existing and future residents by adopting environmental standards in its design and choice of solutions for infrastructure, road networks and urban waterways. Its planning pays attention to details where connectivity and accessibility contributes to conducive living, neighborhoods are safe and inclusive, town centers are vibrant and attractive and designs provide considerations for flexibility and adaptability to change over time.
